I joined Mario Dumont on LCN to discuss former Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon’s public resignation and the acute existential anxiety shared among frontier lab insiders. We delved into the stark contrast between tech leaders pleading for regulation and Donald Trump dismissing AI risks as an economic hindrance in the race against China.

During our conversation, I emphasized the importance of taking these researchers’ concerns seriously while exposing that other researchers — including myself — acknowledge the true progress of AI while expressing a more nuanced view of what the risks might be.
